GM UAW Center for Human Resources Building

Lino and Michael Scamardella of Lino Realty Inc. exclusively represent the purchasers on the sale of the 420,000 sf, 18 acre UAW-GM Center for Human Resources, it is the single largest Commercial Real Estate transaction in the City of Detroit in 2020. Their clients are a partnership between Moceri Companies and Christos Moisides, while Brendan George and Jasper Hanifi of CBRE represented the sellers, a joint venture between the United Auto Workers and General Motors. The property is rebranded the “Icon” and Michael and Lino remain on the partnership team to continue with sale, management and leasing assignments.

Lino and Michael Scamardella of Lino Realty Inc., represent the owning principle partnership of Moceri companies and Christos Moisides, in cooperation with Signature Associates, to sell the rebranded ‘Icon’ Building to Bedrock Real Estate, who acquires the building as part of their continued expansion from the Detroit Central Business District to the East Riverfront.
